Our Divine God

Too often today we get caught up in the chaos of life. We put so much focus in the day to day things that we forget to think about Him. We falter and get distracted in our every day life, but we need to remember that our divine God is, indeed, with us at all times. We should strive to follow His word in our lives, and come to understand him. But how can we understand him?

Understanding means studying, and knowledge. We mustn't allow ourselves to fall into the pride or sloth and believe we know everything there is to know about The Lord. We should strive to understand His word, by reading the holy book. But therein lies the question... how should we read the holy book? It's a question that I've stumbled on in my journey, and though I can only give my opinion and what lays in my heart, the answer that I've found has helped me in my journey, and I hope that it can help you in yours in your way to understand the lord.

Beg God for prayer and you shall be saved in Heaven.

Consider the following. Our divine God gave us two eyes to see, two ears to hear. Because He saw fit to give us two eyes in different positions, we can see things in three dimensions, and the world He gave us is in three dimensions rather than in two, and our world has depth. Because he gave us two ears to hear, in different positions, we can hear in three dimensions, we can tell which direction sounds come from, letting us understand the world around us. In honor of the ability to see what lies before us in three dimensions, I decided to take that approach to my study. I realized that if I didn't try to understand His word from many angles, I couldn't be able to be close to our Lord.

The first step in my decision to approach my journey from multiple angles was to visit more churches than just mine, and to listen to the sermons. I tried to listen to many ministers, for all spoke His word, but all spoke His word in different ways. They focused on different elements of our divine God, and gave me things to think about, opened up my mind to him, and helped me understand that our Lord is many things, but more than anything else He is love. Even in being cast from the garden of Eden, we were blessed by his love; rather than let us remain incomplete, ungrowing in a perfect paradise, he let us walk the Earth that He created for us. He let us suffer, and in suffering we could greater understand joy, and in greater understanding joy we could greater understand love, and in greater understanding love, we could greater understand Him.
